Subsidy Agreement Terms

The PPAHK Subsidy Agreement formalizes the terms of the 40% course fee subsidy and outlines the obligations of both PPAHK and the certified coach. All accepted candidates must sign this agreement before beginning training.

1.Key Agreement Terms

1.1 Subsidy Amount:

      PPAHK provides a 40% subsidy on course fees, reducing the cost from HK$ 9,200 to HK$6,800.

1.2 Teaching Requirement:

     Coach must teach a minimum of 40 hours of PPAHK-organized programs during the 12-month service           period, averaging 3-4 hours per month.

1.3 Conduct Standards:

      Coach agrees to adhere to all PPAHK rules of conduct, safety regulations, and professional standards throughout training and service period.

1.4 Service Period:

      Coach agrees to a 12-month service period beginning upon receipt of Level 1 Coach Certification, during       which they must fulfill teaching obligations.

1.5 Privileges:

     Coach will receive standard PPAHK instructor compensation (HK$ 400-500 per hour) for all teaching              hours during service period, in addition to subsidy benefit.

1.6 Repayment Terms:

     If coach fails to complete service obligations, We reserve the right to retroactively claim the subsidy,              unless exempted for documented reasons.

2. Exemptions from Repayment

Subsidy repayment may be waived in the following circumstances, subject to PPAHK approval with appropriate documentation:

  • Medical Emergency: Serious illness or injury preventing participation, documented by licensed physician

  • Relocation: Permanent relocation outside Hong Kong for employment or family reasons, with proof of relocation

  • Family Emergency: Significant family circumstances requiring extended absence, documented appropriately

  • Force Majeure: Circumstances beyond coach's control that prevent fulfillment of obligations

Requests for exemption must be submitted in writing with supporting documentation to the PPAHK Board of Directors for review and decision.

3. Agreement Signing Process

Upon acceptance, candidates will receive the Subsidy Agreement via email. The agreement must be

3.2 Signed and dated by the candidate

3.3 Returned to PPAHK via email (scanned copy) or in person upon receipt of the acceptance 

3.4 Accompanied by payment of subsidized course fees (HK$ 6,800) upon receipt of the Subsidy Agreement notice

 

Failure to return the signed agreement and payment by the deadlines will result in forfeiture of your place in the program, which will be offered to waitlisted candidates.

This policy is effective from January 1, 2026.
