1. General Rules

1.1 All users must comply with these regulations when using PPAHK facilities and equipment.

1.2 Access to facilities is restricted to:

• PPAHK members with valid membership

• Registered participants of PPAHK programs

• Guests accompanied by members (with prior approval)

1.3 Users must present valid identification upon request.

2. Court Usage

2.1 Booking Procedures

• Courts must be booked in advance through the online booking system

• Maximum booking: 2 hours per day per member

• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance

• No-shows may result in booking privileges being suspended

2.2 Court Conduct

• Proper pickleball attire and footwear must be worn

• Only non-marking shoes are permitted on courts

• Food and glass containers are prohibited on courts

• Users must vacate the court promptly at the end of their booking

2.3 Court Maintenance

• Report any damage or hazards to staff immediately

• Do not attempt to repair or modify court surfaces or equipment

• Help keep courts clean by disposing of trash properly

 

3. Equipment Usage

3.1 Equipment Rental

• Equipment may be rented by members at designated rates

• A valid ID must be left as deposit

• Equipment must be returned in the same condition

3.2 Equipment Care

• Inspect equipment before use

• Report any damage immediately

• Do not modify or disassemble equipment

• Users are responsible for lost or damaged equipment

3.3 Personal Equipment

• Personal equipment must comply with PPAHK specifications

• Equipment not meeting standards may be prohibited

4. Changing Rooms and Facilities

4.1 Changing rooms are provided for personal use only.

4.2 Valuables should be secured in lockers (bring your own lock).

4.3 PPAHK is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

4.4 Keep changing rooms clean and tidy.

 

5. Safety Regulations

5.1 General Safety

• Warm up properly before playing

• Be aware of other users at all times

• Follow instructions from staff and officials

• Report all injuries to staff

5.2 First Aid

• First aid kits are available at the reception

• Contact staff for any medical emergencies

• Emergency phone numbers are posted at each facility

5.3 Prohibited Items

• Weapons of any kind

• Alcohol and drugs

• Smoking and vaping

• Animals (except service animals)

 

6. Conduct and Behavior

6.1 Users must conduct themselves in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner.

6.2 The following behaviors are prohibited:

• Abusive or offensive language

• Physical aggression

• Harassment of any kind

• Damage to facilities or equipment

• Unauthorized solicitation or promotion

6.3 Violations may result in immediate removal and suspension of membership.

 

7. Liability

7.1 Users participate in activities at their own risk.

7.2 PPAHK is not liable for injuries sustained during normal use of facilities, except in cases of negligence.

7.3 Users are responsible for damage to facilities or equipment caused by their negligence or misuse.

 

8. Operating Hours

8.1 Regular operating hours:

• Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM - 10:00 PM

• Saturday: 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM

• Sunday: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM

• Public Holidays: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

8.2 Hours may vary. Check the website for current schedules.

9. Enforcement

9.1 Staff are authorized to enforce these regulations.

9.2 Violations may result in:

• Verbal warning

• Written warning

• Temporary suspension

• Permanent membership revocation

9.3 Decisions on violations may be appealed to the Facilities Committee.
